We are looking for Occupational Therapists who are enthusiastic and passionate about working in paediatrics. This role is open to experienced Occupational Therapists, Early Career Occupational Therapists and New Graduates would be considered.

You will get to work alongside 80+ other dedicated Occupational Therapists in our NDIS division performing clinical services to participants with various diagnoses and disability types. More importantly, you will also get to work with an amazing group of clients, playing an integral part in their personal growth and development.

There are opportunities to expand your skills into our Early Childhood Services, Positive Behaviour Support, Rehabilitation Consulting and / or leadership roles should you be interested.

You will work across various environments, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, community, and/or ORS clinics.

A few requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
  • Registration or ability to become registered with AHPRA
  • Previous experience as an Occupational Therapist working in paediatrics would be highly regarded, with student placements also considered
  • Excellent time management with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team and a commitment to continuous improvement and learning
  • A car and licence
  • A National Police Clearance, Working with Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to get one for a client facing role (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)

Learning and Development:

These are offered either live or in recorded formats to ensure you have access to the training that suits your needs, with the opportunity to pursue clinical specialisation. Opportunities to pursue external training will also be considered, with options to purchase training allowances through the bonus scheme available.

Graduate Programs:

If you have recently graduated, or are within your first 12 months of experience, you will be eligible to participate in ORS’ six month tailored new graduate program. This includes reduced client hours, an allocated supervisor, weekly mentoring, graduate-specific training and opportunities to network with other new graduates and senior practitioners across Australia. Many of our leaders started with ORS in our Graduate Program!
