About the opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor/Project Coordinator with a proven track record to manage a diverse range of projects within our Street Furniture division.
You will support the Senior Project Manager and be responsible for organising materials, scheduling, and liaising with clients and contractors to ensure works are completed within the allotted time frames and to a high standard of quality. Additionally, you will plan, monitor, and supervise the work, while handling key project administrative tasks to ensure successful project delivery.
Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be liaising with internal stakeholders, clients, suppliers, and external contractors throughout various stages of the projects.
Experience in formulating quotations is desirable. Projects will vary, including shelter refurbishment, shelter removal and installation, as well as the associated civil activities needed for shelter works.
A strong work ethic, the ability to prioritize workloads, and the ability to perform well under pressure are essential traits for success in this role.
About You:
- Trade qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Previous experience as a Project Coordinator
- White Card
- Ability to manage internal and external resources along with excellent time management and communication skills
- Experience in Quoting and estimating
- Can read and understand architectural and engineering documents
- Problem-solving, on-the-spot decision-making
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Represent the company with ethical values
- Exceptional knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience using project management systems and software (desirable)
- Current and valid drivers license
