Role Overview:

This cross-functional position bridges market insights, client requirements, and business objectives to help shape a comprehensive, cross-format network optimization strategy. This strategy will guide contract acquisition and retention, digital advancements, and overall network utilization. Success in this role requires a combination of strong data analysis skills and strategic thinking to assess both new and existing contract opportunities and continuously evolve our network strategy in the rapidly changing media landscape.

This role requires a strong balance of analytical acumen, market awareness, and strategic insight to help drive the future direction of the network strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Comprehensive Network Strategy: Collaborate with the Network Strategy Group Director to develop, refine, and implement a robust cross-format network strategy. This strategy will reshape how we assess, acquire, retain, and grow commercial contracts, ensuring alignment with a clear network plan. You will prioritise contracts based on strategic importance and provide insights on bid strategies.

Tailored Network Plans: Partner with Network Directors and the Product/R&G team to create tailored network plans for each product. These plans will address market needs, align with industry audience measurement standards, maximise network utilisation, and support the overall network strategy.

Digital Evolution: Work closely with Commercial and Product/Sales teams to design a digital investment strategy that enhances network composition, adapts to shifting market demands, and delivers maximum value.

Bid and Tender Support: Assist the Bid Director and Network Strategy Group Director in shaping the tender strategy across the portfolio to ensure alignment with the broader network goals.

Asset Planning and Pricing for Bids: In partnership with Pricing Strategy and Product/R&G teams, design asset plans for bids informed by industry audience data (MOVE). These plans will aim to meet client objectives, capture the highest market value, and maximize business returns.

Market Insight: Stay attuned to media trends, market data, and industry developments to ensure a forward-thinking and adaptable approach to the network strategy.

In order to be successful:

- 7+ years of experience in commercial strategy or related roles. Media or Out of Home experience highly desired

- Bachelor’s degree

- This role requires a strong balance of analytical acumen, market awareness, and strategic insight to help drive the future direction of the network strategy
