The role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Data and Insights team as Media Insights Analyst! This role will leverage data from industry leading transactional data partners to analyse outcomes and chart campaign performance for oOh! clients. Working closely with our external data partners and sales and solutions teams, you will analyse and translate market data into campaign insights, performance measurements and post-campaign analysis. You’ll prepare easily digestible data visualisations and insights based on client campaigns to drive critical sales and business decisions and provide valuable client feedback. You will also:
- Collate information from various sources and perform detailed data analysis including querying of large datasets (good level of SQL knowledge required)
- Generate actionable insights for clients, via analysis of trends, building of reports and understanding segmentation and marketing analytics
- Undertake data visualisation and reporting using Excel, PowerBI, PPT
- Develop comprehensive market insight packs and use analysis methodologies to support customer segmentation
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure insights are understood, presented and used in the right way to achieve business outcomes
- Liaise with external data partner stakeholders to manage the implementation of campaign measurement reports
- Troubleshoot and analyse business problems and source effective outcomes
This opportunity can be based in either our North Sydney or South Melbourne locations. You’ll join a close knit, experienced team and have the opportunity to learn from the best in the industry and be nurtured and supported by your team and manager.
About you:
Previous experience in a media or marketing analytics role is preferred but not required, you will be comfortable managing and querying large data sets to uncover strategic insights. You’ll be confident in identifying and preparing insights in a clear and uniform way to non-technical stakeholders and business users. You will also:
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders
- Have high attention to detail, effective organisational skills, and the ability to plan and adjust to changing priorities.
- Be a motivated, self-starter who can work independently and use your initiative to problem solve.
- Understanding of the Out Of Home industry advantageous along with knowledge of marketing campaign execution & optimisation.
