About the opportunity:

Located in North Sydney, we seek a highly organised and proactive Accounts Payable Officer to join the Ooh! Media AP team. As part of the AP team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day Accounts Payable function, including processing invoices received for payment and undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.

Skills and experience:

  • Accounts Payable experience and knowledge of basic accounting principles will set you up for success in this diverse and rewarding role!
  • Help to create a seamless accounts payable experience through continual process improvement and effective execution of your role.
  • Process high-volume and high-value invoices and payments across multinational AP functions and entities.
  • Participate in working groups to improve and communicate company AP policies.
  • Produce statement reconciliations for a variety of clients.
  • Manage the Travel and Entertaining platform and staff reimbursements
  • Be a key point of contact for queries internally and externally.
  • Report monthly on Aged Creditors.
  • Provide accrual-based information to the finance team at month's end.

  • Highly developed problem-solving skills, commercial acumen, and passion for delivering commercial outcomes.
  • Stakeholder and relationship management skills are paramount which strengthen your ability to guide and influence outcomes.
  • You are a strong communicator and an expert collaborator and strive to deliver excellence in customer service.
  • You will have exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills with a keen interest in process improvement and continued learning.
  • You are tech savvy with advanced MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/PPT) and exposure to Netsuite advantageous.
  • Most importantly, a dedicated team player who thrives on pro activity and is enthusiastic with a can-do attitude!
