About the opportunity:

We seek a Posting and Cleaning Team Leader to join, lead, and guide a small but dedicated Maintenance team. In this role, you will be guiding and working within the team to give back to your community by providing a range of hands-on maintenance as well as advising team members on best practices and methods. You will also be conducting training of new staff on repairs, as well as the installation of advertising posters on the oOh!’s Street Furniture and retail assets (bus shelters and retail)

 Key responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections and proactive maintenance tasks on advertising bus shelters to ensure optimal performance and appearance.
  • Respond promptly to reported faults or damages, troubleshooting and implementing effective solutions
  • Conduct reactive maintenance as needed, diagnosing and repairing to full capacity
  • Assist with a successful stock management system
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues relating to assets during the preparation
  • Assist with health & safety initiatives within the organisation, serving as a member of the health & safety committee.
  • Consult with team members on health & safety matters, addressing concerns and providing guidance where needed.
  • Provide effective maintenance training and guidance for all new staff required to perform maintenance on site.

About you:

  • Excellent work ethic and time management, with planning and organisational skills
  • Experience within a maintenance environment 
  • Experience in the use of power tools & hand tools.
  • Knowledge of the maintenance of DTP assets is desirable
  • Ability to manage a team staff and give guidance and feedback where required
  • Excellent work ethic and time management skills
  • Competent in the use of computers and Microsoft systems
  • Commitment to maintaining safe and secure work environment for all team members
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training
  • Current Valid Driver’s License
