About the opportunity :
In this 9-month fixed-term role , we are seeking a driven, professional, and self-starting / Credit Controller to join our team in North Sydney. You will be responsible for managing designated AR sub-ledger/s (with up to 500 active accounts) ranging from small business owners to large media agencies and commercial partners, both local and overseas. Here’s what you’ll do…
- Manage of designated AR sub-ledger/s with up to 500 active accounts ranging from small business owners to large media agencies and commercial partners, local and overseas
- Reconcile complex month-end debtor accounts
- Manage debtor account queries and resolving problems in relation to invoice payments
- Liaise with our external collection agency for accounts requiring further debt recovery and legal action
- Be responsible for full debt management, focusing on minimising bad debt risk and overdue debt whilst maintaining a good relationship with the client
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external
- Collaborate with key internal teams and stakeholders to deliver the best results for oOh! and the customer in all aspects of Accounts Receivable
- Manage a large inbox ensuring timely responses
- Issue monthly customer invoicing and debtor account statements
- Conduct credit assessments on new account applications
- Daily cash receipting and allocation
- Process general journals
- Continuous process improvement
- Adhoc reporting as required by the business
- Seek to understand complex system/process/account/campaign issues to be resolved by working collaboratively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Support the Credit Manager in adhoc duties as required

- Credit Control experience ideally within a corporate environment
- A strong emphasis on detail and exceptional organisation/ time management skills
- Basic accounting principles knowledge
- Research and resolution, data analysis skills
- Ability to integrate information from a range of sources
- Solutions focused, ability to problem solve
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to negotiate to deliver results in the best interests of oOh!
- Ability to business partner and develop strong, meaningful relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Capability to learn and adapt to new systems, concepts and processes
- Excellent computer and IT skills, including all Office suite applications
- Knowledge of various accounting systems such as Dynamics AX, Netsuite, MYOB
