About the opportunity:
We are currently looking for our next Glass Fitter to join the Ooh! glass team to work in Frankston and surrounding areas.
As part of the glass maintenance team, you will be repairing and replacing various types and sizes of precut glass in our company assets, along with interacting with the general public. Your ability to be self-motivated, work unsupervised, and able to plan your day will be an important part of your new role. To secure this position, you will need to demonstrate the following:
About you :
- Previous glass installation experience or willing to learn the industry
- Good mathematical and literacy skills
- Ability to work unsupervised once you have a good understanding of the job
- Excellent communication, presentation, and punctuality
- You're comfortable working from ladders
- You're comfortable using power tools and hand tools to a high standard
- Be available to work on-call at times as part of a team which may include after-hours work
- Current valid driver's license
- Fit, enthusiastic, and keen to be part of a progressive company
