About the opportunity

The Senior Business Manager (SBM) in Adelaide plays a key role within the Agency Sales team, responsible for supporting the Group Sales Leader in mentoring, and guiding a team of Business Managers and Campaign Executives. This role is crucial in fostering and expanding oOh!’s relationships within the assigned tier 1 agency patch and beyond, with a focus on driving revenue growth across small, mid, and large out-of-home formats through the Adelaide market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Execution & Goal Setting
  • Translate business strategy into actionable goals for the Adelaide territory.
  • Consistently execute go-to-market (GTM) activities, ensuring alignment with oOh!’s overall sales standards and objectives.
  • Quarterly Account Planning & Forecasting
  • Oversee and lead the team’s quarterly account planning, forecasting, and execution processes to support targeted revenue growth.
  • Ensure alignment of goals with the agency patch and other key agency partners.
  • Pipeline Management & Revenue Optimization
  • Regularly review sales pipelines and activity levels, identifying gaps and providing strategic guidance to drive optimal revenue performance across all formats and networks.
  • Sales Leadership & Engagement
  • Actively engage in prospecting, preparing, pitching, and participating in business opportunities to model sales excellence and high standards for the team.
  • Performance Support & Development
  • Provide in-market support to Business Managers, offering consistent coaching and feedback to enhance individual performance and impact in the field.
  • Collaborative Internal & External Relationships
  • Collaborate closely with other Business Managers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to effectively position oOh!’s products and solutions within the Adelaide market.
  • Client Relationship Building & Brand Visibility
  • Represent oOh! at client events and social engagements, building and strengthening relationships with clients while enhancing brand presence in Adelaide.
  • Account Growth & After-Sales Management
  • Drive up-selling and cross-selling efforts on key accounts to unlock new business avenues.
  • Manage the after-sales process to ensure long-term client satisfaction and retention.

The Senior Business Manager will play a vital role in supporting oOh!’s position as the leading out-of-home media partner in the Adelaide market, driving market share and brand visibility across the region.

Skills & Experience

Ideally you’ll have minimum 5 years of experience in an Account Management (sales) function within media and advertising. Out of home media background is preferred but not essential!

  • Have a proactive approach to developing new business as well as managing and expanding key accounts.
  • Be able to influence stakeholders through thought-leadership and a consultative approach. 
  • Understand how to use data, metrics, and external market insights to drive and influence decisions.
  • An innate storyteller with excellent presentation style and ability to present engaging insights and solutions.
  • Have exemplary communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.
  • Be an experienced leader, whether it be from directly managing a team or providing coaching and mentorship.
