The Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our dynamic Strategy team. We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst with a focus on pricing, the ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven pricing strategies, optimising pricing models, and delivering insights that support revenue growth and profitability. This role requires a deep understanding of pricing structures, market trends, and business analytics to help shape and execute pricing initiatives.

Pricing Strategy & Analysis:

  • Develop and maintain pricing models and strategies to optimise profitability
  • Analyse market trends, competitive pricing, and customer data to recommend price adjustments
  • Support product and service pricing decisions with data-driven insights

Data Collection & Reporting:

  • Gather and analyse data from multiple sources (sales, finance, customer feedback, etc.) to evaluate pricing effectiveness
  • Provide regular reports on pricing performance, including key metrics, trends, and pricing anomalies

Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:

  • Work closely with product, sales, marketing, and finance teams to understand business objectives and align pricing strategies
  • Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to ensure alignment between pricing strategies and business goals

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline pricing processes and improve efficiency
  • Implement pricing governance and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations

Based in North Sydney you’ll join a close knit, experienced team who are passionate about providing outstanding service and results to clients across a range of industries. You’ll have the opportunity to learn from the best in the industry and be nurtured and supported by your team and manager.


The Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, pricing strategy, or a similar analytical role within media and advertising, with strong business acumen and market understanding.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field, with excellent financial modeling, scenario analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools like Excel and Power BI, with attention to detail and accuracy in data interpretation and reporting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working independently and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines, demonstrating critical thinking and a keen focus on results.
  • Proactive team player with a can-do attitude, eager to learn and grow in the dynamic media industry.
