OneDigital and Catch supports Hybrid working – which means a mix of working remote and in our 699 Collins Street Support Centre.

What you’ll be doing

The P&C Business Partner will be a trusted partner and coach to key stakeholders and ensures the effective delivery of our P&C program and initiatives, as well as driving engagement, improving retention and ultimately creating a great place to work for our team members across OneDigital and Catch.

You’ll be accountable for partnering with your leadership team to drive transformational change, including culture, organization design, leadership development, talent management and workforce planning. They will be a trusted partner and coach to key stakeholders, and ensure the effective delivery of our P&C program and initiatives, as well as driving engagement, improving retention and ultimately creating an amazing place to work for our team members.

Key duties and deliverables:

  • Form and maintain strong partnerships and trusted relationships to deliver value-added people and culture advisory services across full spectrum of P&C activities (e.g., onboarding, induction, goal setting, talent and performance reviews, succession planning and remuneration and reward).
  • Build capability of our leaders with a focus on performance, development and coaching. 
  • Partner with your relevant BU leaders to build a highly engaged and effective leadership team and function, collaborating on org design, team effectiveness, talent management, learning and development and culture transformation.
  • Build a People Strategy that aligns business strategy with creating an amazing employee experience for our people
  • Actively participate and contribute as a member of the P&C team, OneDigital and Catch, offering strategic and practical input from a people and culture perspective.
  • Contribute to the establishment of a future-thinking team by fostering a culture of wellbeing and high performance amongst self-governing teams
  • Facilitate the cyclical P&C activities for the Client Group collaborating with leaders to educate, coach and deliver on requirements. 
  • Manage organisational change effectively, ensuring all business changes are well considered, carefully planned and effectively implemented with people brought along the journey.
  • Lead effective investigations and issue resolution in keeping with legal frameworks, and principles of fairness, integrity, and objectivity. 

What you will need to be successful:

  • 7+ years’ experience in a P&C Business Partner or other HR role including coaching, employee relations, recruiting, compensation, training & HR project management or program implementation.
  • Knowledge of organisation design, talent, and culture
  • Strong business acumen and understanding
  • Outstanding relationship management and influencing skills at all levels
  • Experience objectively coaching employees and management through complex and difficult situations
  • Applied knowledge of federal, state and local laws and statutes for employment.
  • Thorough understanding and hands-on application of internal and external HR principles, concepts, practices and standards
  • Resourceful and self-motivated with ability to work in changing environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to assess situations and make decisions based on data while drawing from previous experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication
