Your Role

As the Senior Marketing Manager (Brand & Retail events), you will lead the ongoing development and implementation of OnePass brand guidelines, messaging frameworks, and approved marketing language, ensuring consistent, high-quality execution across the business. Additionally, you will strategically lead the development, execution, and optimisation of key retail events, including OnePass Weekend, Black Friday, and Back to School. You will collaborate closely with divisional marketing teams, internal stakeholders, and the media and performance teams to ensure integrated, aligned, and impactful campaigns that drive incremental value to the business. 

What you’ll be doing

Brand Development and Execution: 

  • Lead OnePass Brand program and achievement of awareness and comprehension metrics. 
  • Own the OnePass Brand style guide and lead quarterly updates and refinements to the guidelines, ensuring consistency and clarity across all marketing communications. 
  • Develop and maintain key messaging frameworks and approved language documents to support speed to market, operational efficiency, and consistent messaging. 
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to embed brand standards, ensuring alignment and compliance across all marketing and customer-facing touchpoints. 
  • Act as the brand champion, guiding teams to deliver compelling, on-brand communications that enhance customer experience and perception. 
  • Lead on annual instore Point of sale and experience resets. 

Retail Events Management: 

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of key retail events, delivering integrated marketing campaigns aligned with divisional partners and broader business objectives. 
  • Collaborate closely with divisional marketing teams and the media and performance teams to drive alignment, drive new member growth and existing member shops, optimise event performance, and develop strategic media buying plans. 
  • Develop clear event objectives, KPIs, and performance tracking mechanisms, ensuring continuous learning and optimisation post-event. 
  • Facilitate cross-functional planning forums to ensure alignment and integration across OneDigital and Divisional partners and program updates for the leadership team on progress, risks and escalations. 
  • Scope and identify new opportunities to expand early access or member value with partnership managers to evolve the 18-month marketing calendar.

Performance Analysis and Continuous Improvement: 

  • Deliver weekly campaign performance updates and post-event reviews and performance reporting (PIRs), translating insights into actionable improvements for future events and campaigns.
  • Monitor brand health metrics and customer sentiment, adapting strategies proactively to strengthen brand positioning, including quarterly brand and customer insight updates to support divisional planning. 

What you'll bring to the table

  • 7–10+ years in marketing, brand or partnership roles (retail, loyalty or digital platforms ideal).
  • Demonstrated success in managing integrated, cross-functional campaigns, with strong attention to detail for project delivery. 
  • Experience developing brand guidelines, messaging frameworks, and strategic marketing communications. 
  • Proven experience presenting and influencing senior stakeholders for buy-in and approval on strategies and campaigns. 
  • Ability to balance commercial, brand and customer needs to drive growth.
  • Comfortable managing ambiguity.
