About the role 

You are responsible for maintaining and managing the academic records of students, ensuring data accuracy in the student management system and compliance with academic regulations and policies, ensuring NZTC’s highly reputable profile is continually raised nationally and internationally.

Please note that this role will be working from home for the foreseeable future.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support the Operations Manager in all administrative tasks
  • Maintain and update student records, including enrolments, grades and attendance
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all student data in the student management system
  • Administration of quality assurance and academic regulations operations, processes and practices
  • Maintain accuracy on programs and courses on student management system and with external partners
  • Administrative tasks associated with external bodies such as NZQA, Teaching Council, TEC, and Ministry of Education
  • Ensure consistent, effective liaison with college academic staff regarding compliance and curriculum issues

The successful applicant will have:

  • Highly effective communication skills, with excellent written and spoken English
  • Efficient time management and organisation skills
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills
  • High level of attention to detail in administrative record-keeping and data entry
  • Strong skills working with processes and systems 
  • An ability to work effectively autonomously and within a team environment
  • Experience in administration roles
