Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About the role  

As a Flight Attending/Tourism Tutor, you may be responsible for delivering our Certificate in Tourism (Aviation, Tourism and Travel) Level 3 & 4 courses, Certificate in Flight Attending and Travel and Tourism Management level 5 courses. You will be facilitating learning using existing curriculum and resources to deliver a great student experience and support them achieve their qualification. You will play a key role in helping them progress along their career path as they graduate to becoming the next generation of tourism industry professionals! 

You don’t necessarily need any experience in teaching, we will provide you with comprehensive learning, and support teaching tools to become successful in your trainer role. 

Ko wai koe | About you  

  • Proven background in travel/tourism industry - ideally at least 4 years experience including at least 2 years at supervisory level.
  • Diploma or degree in Tourism (or other related field) and/or a background as a flight attendant, advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about sharing knowledge and fostering success
  • Teaching experience advantageous but not a requirement
