About the Role

The Online Assessor is responsible for ensuring assessment submissions from students are marked with feedback returned in a timely manner. This role plays a key role in our programme to ensure learner satisfaction and outcomes through the provision of first-class service. 

The Online Assessor position is a remote role that can be taken on alongside your main job. Renumeration is based upon completed assessment papers that have been allocated to you by the Online Campus Team Leader. As such, this opportunity offers flexibility, allowing you to organise your own hours outside of regular work, with marking allocated based on your availability.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Assessment Quality: Ensure all assessments are marked in accordance with the provided grading criteria and assessment guidelines.
  • Constructive Feedback: Provide clear, detailed, and constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development.
  • Timely Completion: Meet marking deadlines as set by the Online Campus Team Leader to maintain efficient turnaround times.
  • Communication: Maintain professional and responsive communication with the Online Campus Team regarding marking queries or concerns.
  • Confidentiality & Integrity: Adhere to confidentiality policies when handling student submissions and grading data.


About You

  • You will need to have a NZ Diploma in Pharmacy Technician (Specialist) L6, or a NZ Certificate in Pharmacy Technician L4 - L5.
  • A minimum of 5 years of recent professional experience as a Pharmacy Technician in New Zealand
  • Strong time management and IT administration skills
  • Strong knowledge in the subject matter of the pharmacy technician qualifications
