About the role

We are looking for a Pre-Police/Uniformed Services Tutor to join our Auckland Sylvia Park Campus for the new year on a 6-month fixed-term contract starting in January.

In this role, you will be walking into an energetic campus environment where value is placed on delivering outcomes rather than micro-managing work and tasks. You will be given autonomy to work in a way that gets the best results and with our support take responsibility and make things happen.

You will:

  • Deliver our Level 3 Pre-Police and Uniformed Services course in an engaging, practical way
  • Mentor and support students, tracking their progress and providing pastoral care
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and recommend improvements to our programme
  • Support growing student numbers gaining entrance into relevant career pathways

We are looking for people who:

  • Have experience or qualifications related to uniformed services, fitness, or sport
  • Are driven to develop others and support their success
  • Have strong communication and presentation abilities
  • Appreciate diversity and developing community relationships
  • Have experience working or teaching in a multi-cultural environment (preferred)

You'll be an experienced professional with passion for this field. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds who can connect with and inspire our diverse students.
