Community Store All-Rounder(s)

The Company

Our client is currently seeking an All-Rounder to work in a community store in a remote community in North-Western Australia. Wangkatjungka is a large community situated 100km south-east of Fitzroy Crossing. The community is located on an excision of Christmas Creek Station and there are many gorges, waterholes and caves to explore nearby.

The Roles

Working with the Store Manager, the All-Rounder will oversee the day-to-day operation of the store including customer service; cashier duties; opening and closing; maintaining stock; rotating stock; store merchandising; stock ordering; staff supervision; and cleaning the store and warehouse areas.

The Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants require:

• Previous experience working in a remote community stores, retail stores or roadhouse (preferred)
• Previous experience working in remote locations (preferred)
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Flexible approach, positive attitude, punctuality and a willingness to learn

The Rewards

Working in a remote location, the position receives a full time annual rate + superannuation working 38 hours a week on average. You will be working Monday to Friday and every second Saturday morning meaning days off can be used enjoying the local area. There is also a fully furnished home available and 5 weeks Annual Leave.
