As an experienced Data Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing business data, identifying trends, and supporting data-driven decision-making.

You’ll work closely with business and technical teams to ensure data integrity, optimize processes, and enhance business intelligence solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct data lineage analysis, A-C mapping, data profiling, and querying to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Perform process and data analysis, mapping, and re-engineering to optimize business workflows.
• Support data migration and systems integration projects, ensuring seamless transitions and data integrity.
• Write functional, data, and technology service specifications to support business and IT stakeholders.
• Develop user stories and acceptance criteria aligned with Agile principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data solutions, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Utilize SQL to extract, analyze, and interpret data, supporting business insights.
• Leverage your financial services industry experience to drive data solutions that meet regulatory and operational requirements.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of combined experience in Business Analysis, Technical Analysis, and Data Analysis.
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of Project Management, Agile & Waterfall delivery models.
• Hands-on experience with data profiling, migration, querying, and analytics.
• Systems integration and API exposure – experience with integration technologies is a plus.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Ability to write clear and concise technical and functional documentation.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
• Resilient, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Bonus Points For

• Experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and data lakes.
• Knowledge of machine learning, AI, or advanced analytics (not mandatory but a great plus!).
