Our client is expanding its Trade Finance team in Sydney to support ongoing projects and BAU initiatives.
We're seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong expertise in Trade Finance, especially in Finastra Trade Innovation (TI). This role involves working on the end-to-end implementation, customization, and configuration of TI, supporting the enhancement of Trade Finance operations for a major client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with business and vendor teams to capture and document new requirements.
- Lead full life cycle implementation of Finastra Trade Innovation, including upgrades and system configuration.
- Define processes for commodity and structured trade finance, including collateral management and Borrowing Base analysis.
- Develop functional specifications, review test cases, and ensure project deliverables meet business objectives.
- Perform regular risk reviews with stakeholders to assess Borrowing Base analysis and monitor compliance.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years in Trade Finance with at least 3+ years of Finastra TI full life cycle implementation.
- Proven ability in TI customization, configuration, and understanding of Trade Interface Manager tools.
- Strong knowledge of Trade Finance products (e.g., Letters of Credit, Guarantees) and their lifecycle.
- Experience with Agile project management and excellent technical documentation skills.
- In-depth understanding of downstream processes like limits, settlements, and G.L. entries.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise across business and technical teams.
- Familiarity with Capital Markets and data analysis/mapping skills.
