Loan Accounts Officer - Collections SupportOn-Site

Our customer is a leading financial services company dedicated to providing innovative and reliable Insurance Premium Funding solutions.  They are looking for a dynamic individual to join their in-house Collections team, providing national support to our Insurance Premium Funding division.

You will be the first point of contact for inbound/outbound calls and emails and communicate with customers to maximise the collection of outstanding debt.

Responsibilities:

• Be the first point of contact for inbound/outbound calls and emails.
• Communicate effectively with customers to maximize debt collection.
• Liaise with Brokers on client arrears and follow up on return premiums.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers on Broker challenges.
• Identify and report adverse trends to the Loan Accounts Manager.
• Maintain arrears at 0.15% of the portfolio.

Requirements:

• Relevant degree with good academic standing.
• Must have computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience in Collections or Accounts Receivable.
• Ability to handle disputes and hardship inquiries.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Collaborative mindset with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
• Results-focused with a sense of urgency.
• Previous experience in the insurance industry is advantageous.
