Title: Data Analyst 5

Location: Beaverton, OR

Duration: 6 months contract

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Analyze complex business problems using internal and external data to provide actionable insights for decision-makers.
  • Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to determine key influences.
  • Construct forecasts, recommendations, and strategic or tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge.
  • Create specifications for reports and analyses that meet business needs and leverage available data.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to address business issues, providing consultation and strategic guidance.
  • Build and deliver scalable data and analytics solutions that support critical decision-making processes.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements and develop sustainable data solutions.
  • Document and communicate system and analytics changes, translating complex functionality into business-friendly language.
  • Validate key performance indicators (KPIs) and build queries to measure business performance quantitatively.
  • Develop data governance standards, including data ingestion, product dictionaries, and documentation.
  • Design and implement SQL queries, data visualizations, and reporting solutions using tools such as Snowflake, Tableau, and Power BI.
  • Monitor and improve data quality, automate processes, and enhance workflows for efficiency.
  • Use data mining and statistical analysis to extract insights, predict trends, and solve business problems.
  • Manage and support multiple project teams, ensuring alignment with business goals.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with Python, Snowflake, Tableau, and Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics patterns, use cases, and data visualization techniques.
  • Proven ability to interpret large volumes of data, identify correlations, and transform insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated experience in data governance, quality control, and documentation.
  • Expertise in managing complex projects and supporting multiple teams with competing priorities.
  • A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including as a business/process leader or industry expert.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a proactive, independent approach to work.
