WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Economic Research & Analysis: Conduct economic research and analyze rates of return, depreciation, and investments to inform financial strategies.
  • Strategic Planning & Tracking: Monitor progress against the company’s strategic plan, budget, and forecast, ensuring alignment with long-term goals.
  • Profit-and-Loss Analysis: Analyze profit-and-loss income statements and prepare reports with recommendations for management to optimize business performance.
  • Forecasting & Trend Analysis: Generate financial forecasts and analyze trends in sales, finance, and other areas to support business planning.
  • Financial Planning Support: Research and interpret economic trends to assist in the company’s financial planning and long-term strategy development.
  • Business Case Validation: Collaborate with initiative teams to validate assumptions for business cases and create financial models that include costs and expected benefits.
  • Investment Tracking: Measure and track the growth of major investments, ensuring initiatives are generating value as planned and adjusting financial projections accordingly.
  • Portfolio Management: Update financial information in the portfolio management tool (ARC) and provide consolidated financial data for corporate finance and P&L inputs.
  • Investment Requests Evaluation: Review investment requests, assess the use of funds, and ensure completeness and consistency across initiatives.
  • Financial Methodology Expertise: Support peers in financial tracking methodology, processes, and requirements to enhance overall project management.


WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8-9 years of relevant experience. Professional certifications such as CMA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, or ACMA are preferred.
  • Experience in investments, venture capital, M&A, banking, or specialized consulting is highly beneficial. Strong background in measuring and tracking investment growth.
  • Proven ability to build and validate financial models with key drivers to assess costs, benefits, and pacing of business initiatives.
  • Experience in creating, reviewing, and validating business cases and budgets, ensuring reasonableness and alignment with overall company goals.
  • Strong ability to analyze financial statements, research trends, and generate actionable insights to drive company success.
