Location: Beaverton, OR or Memphis, TN

Duration: 12 Months contract

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Global Physical Security team is looking for a Project Manager to lead and manage security projects and upgrades in our mid-south distribution centers. Some of these projects include building out high-value secured spaces, replacing aged security equipment (cameras, badge readers, security panels), rethinking security device layout, and working with Nike Tech teams to upgrade backend systems. This role requires collaboration, engagement, and alignment across all functions throughout Nike but specifically with the technology and facilities teams as well as distribution center leadership. Coordinated communication amongst key stakeholders at all levels of the organization is critical. 

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

As a Project Manager within the Resilience organization you will be a key member of a growing and passionate team focused on collaborating across business and security resources to drive forward site security capabilities across Nike. The goal is to keep team members safe while removing security friction points. 

In this role, you will lead and manage projects that enhance the experience for Global Security Operations guard force teams. These folks leverage our security systems to protect our employees. You will lead and facilitate meetings to drive alignment across stakeholders and achieve measurable results that further organizational priorities. This role will work directly with our 3rd party Security Integrator and Global Technology team to push the projects across the finish line.

This role requires thoughtful approaches and creative solutions to achieve success.  

  • Proactively manage and drive physical security specific projects; define, implement, maintain, and communicate project status to leadership
  • Responsible for project cost management
  • Responsible for project scope, change control and issue management within the team
  • Partner with team resources and team leads to proactively drive resolution for complex problems, issues, and change control items
  • Define and manage project success/delivery criteria and monitor and reports on the realization of project success against the criteria set
  • Develop timelines and share status updates in a weekly meeting
  • Responsible for all Project Workstreams:
  • Project Kickoffs and approvals
  • Project Planning - Issue & Risk Management
  • Stakeholder management/engagement
  • Communications and Reporting at all levels
  • Transition Manager coordination
  • Project Closure and handoff

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

In this role, you are a part of the Global Physical Security team – part of the greater Resilience team. You will report to the Director, Physical Security Infrastructure located at WHQ in Beaverton, OR.

You will engage with the Physical Security Team located in Beaverton, OR and Memphis, TN to ensure consistent processes are in place.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Security, IT, business, or a related
  • Extensive operational management experience in a global, matrixed corporation
  • Ability to engage with Sr. Business leaders on strategy as well as driving clarity and closure to high profile, high tension situations
  • Leadership Excellence in regard to team management and organizational evolution, strategic planning, financial planning and budget management, and vendor management
  • Expert influencing skills and ability to gather alignment to organizational strategies
  • Ability to leverage resources to effectively translate business objectives into strategic business plans
  • Highly skilled in conflict resolution, collaboration, and decision making
