Title: Project Management - Lead

Location: Beaverton, OR

Duration: 6 month contract

What You Will Do:

  • Define tools and processes to enhance organizational excellence in program and project management.
  • Manage projects typically lasting up to 12 months with a budget of $1 million, spanning multiple business functions within a regional scope.
  • Collaborate with project sponsors and customers to define business benefits, requirements, and project scope.
  • Implement change control processes to manage scope changes and their impact on project timelines, costs, and quality.
  • Develop project schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress against established timelines.
  • Facilitate level of effort estimating and identify asset acquisition requirements; track and report actuals against forecasts.
  • Provide guidance on project methodology and best practices, adhering to Nike's standard project methodology.
  • Define and manage project success/delivery criteria; monitor and report on project success against predefined criteria.
  • Develop risk management plans, assess risk criticality, probability, and impact.
  • Formulate risk mitigation strategies, assign responsibilities, and oversee mitigation actions.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree required; minimum of 8-9 years of directly relevant work experience.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive project deliverables.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects within scope, budget, and schedule constraints.
  • Experience in risk management and change control processes.
  • Proficiency in using project management tools and software.
