Title: Test Engineer II

Location: Beaverton, OR

Duration: 14-month contract

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Test Engineer II in the Nike Footwear Lab with strong problem solving, results orientation, and multi-tasking skills.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will complete standard materials and mechanical tests, review and analyze data, and write reports and communicate the results to the teams. You will also assist more senior engineers on testing related projects, consult and train others in your area of expertise, and help identify changes in protocols or equipment within the lab to improve accuracy and efficiency.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will work with product creation teams to ensure the quality of Nike footwear products.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in test design, data collection, data analysis, and/or equipment design is required.
  • Strong written and oral communication skill with an ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audience required.
  • Experience with product and materials testing is required.
  • Experience with statistical analysis of data required
  • Basic knowledge of biomechanics and/or CAD would be a plus
