Title: Lead Software Engineer

Location: Remote, US

Duration: 5 month contract

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Assess well-defined business problems and lead the development of technical solutions that align with business needs and architectural standards.
  • Manage small- to moderate-sized solutions or play a key role on larger teams, typically working within two to three sprints.
  • Provide direction to team members and/or vendors, ensuring project success and alignment with technical goals.
  • Advise product owners on technology-related business challenges, formulate options with risk assessments, and collaborate to determine the best solutions.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Lead the technical path forward for one of our teams in the supply chain space within AI/ML.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with data scientists and engineers to integrate machine learning models into production environments.
  • Push for higher code quality and maintain robust coding standards across the team.
  • Build and optimize software systems that enhance supply chain operations using AI and ML technologies.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • A bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of directly relevant work experience.
  • Expertise in software development with a preference for familiarity in the ML space.
  • Strong leadership skills to guide technical projects and team collaboration.
  • The ability to evaluate technical options, assess risks, and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
