Location: Salem, OR

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Engineer Manager to lead our data platform and architecture. You will oversee data infrastructure, systems, and processes to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Responsibilities include:

  • Establishing database management standards, guidelines, and quality assurance processes
  • Documenting and communicating database designs
  • Evaluating and installing database systems and management tools
  • Coding complex programs and deriving logical processes on technical platforms
  • Building interfaces, screens, and reports
  • Prototyping user interfaces and applications
  • Ensuring data quality through testing and QA processes
  • Adapting business requirements into technical data and database specifications
  • Determining optimal data storage organization and table relationships

WHAT YOU BRING

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in designing, implementing and optimizing big data pipelines and architectures leveraging tools like Databricks, AWS, Spark, Python, and PySpark.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • 10+ years of data engineering and architecture experience
  • Expertise in data systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies
