Title: Platform Engineer

Location: Remote, US

Duration: 12-month contract

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Assess well-defined problems and lead the development of technical solutions that meet business needs and align with architectural standards
• Manage small- to moderate-sized solutions, or play a key role on larger teams, working within the parameters of two to three sprints
• Provide direction to team members and/or vendors
• Advise product owners on discrete technology-related business problems; formulate options, including assessing their relative merits and risks; and work with product owners to determine the best solution

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 5 years directly relevant work experience

For this role, platform engineering experience is helpful involving:

• Pipeline build
• Access control
• Data integration
• Networking (VPC, NAT Gateway)
• Observability (Splunk, Signal FX, New Relic)
• Terraform or IAC (Infrastructure as Code)
• ML flow
• Recent Databricks experience is also helpful.
