Title: Merchandising Operations

Location: Boston, MA

Duration: 3 months contract

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Gather data from sales, retail, and product creation sources to support decision-making.
  • Validate data accuracy and research any discrepancies or outliers.
  • Develop standardized methods for data collection and reporting.
  • Create and run both standard and custom reports for the Merchandising team.
  • Analyze data to draw conclusions and provide actionable recommendations for improving merchandising strategies.
  • Build financial models and deliver quantitative and qualitative analysis to drive merchandising efficiency, cost savings, and better product assortments.
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure merchandising systems meet the needs of the business and address any issues.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Consumer insights, assortment planning, Go-to-Market strategies, and product management activities.
  • Continuous improvement of data collection methods, reporting, and analysis to support merchandising decisions.
  • Optimizing financial models and analysis to enhance product assortment quality and operational efficiencies.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience in merchandising, product management, or data analysis.
  • Strong skills in gathering, validating, and analyzing data to inform business decisions.
  • Ability to create and interpret financial models.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work across teams and with IT.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills when addressing data inconsistencies and system issues.
