Title: Software Engineer 3

Location: Beaverton, OR

Duration: 6-month contract

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

• Working with AWS services related to networking and modifying infrastructure using CloudFormation.
• Operating live systems with zero downtime using standard CI/CD practices.
• Collaborating within a team environment, clearly explaining your work and contributing to discussions.
• Potentially working on consumer-facing applications.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Assess well-defined technical problems and lead the development of solutions that meet business needs and align with architectural standards.
• Manage small- to moderate-sized solutions or play a key role on larger teams, working within the scope of two to three sprints.
• Provide direction to team members and vendors, ensuring successful project execution.
• Advise product owners on technology-related business problems, formulate options, assess their merits and risks, and determine the best solution.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years of directly relevant work experience.
• Strong expertise in AWS and Java.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to explain your work effectively within the team.
• Experience with REST APIs and previous experience with Nike is a plus.
