Title: Strategic Planner

Location: Beaverton, OR

Duration: 5 months contract

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

The nature of the work is on Nike’s Global Marketplace Strategy Team in the role of Strategic Planner with emphasis on the Global Nike Direct Leadership team and initiatives related to Direct to consumer business in Digital, Stores, and Membership. Individual will be motivated by complex, strategic workstreams and capable of working with senior executives to refine, communicate, and detail their strategies. Work may also include chief of staff responsibilities for Nike Direct leaders depending on need.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • General Analysis: Develops strategic plan(s) to ensure the continued successful growth and profitability. Conducts environmental scans, organizational positioning analyses and other studies.
  • Strategic Business Planning Process: Drives a planning process to set, analyze, and prioritize strategies in which all gates and dates are clearly understood and that result in all Corporate planning deliverables being met. Monitor factors that would indicate the need for redirection of strategy.
  • Measurement: Lead the process of developing strategic initiatives and objectives for the current year and the 3-year Strategic Plan at the Regional Level, and work with business units/functions to ensure objectives are aligned and integrated; Identify relevant measures and drive accountability for on-going performance against business and strategic objectives by preparing for and help leading Quarterly Business Review process.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 10+ years of relevant strategic planning experience
  • Expertise leading complex initiatives or processes
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
  • Comfort working with senior executives
  • Passion for sports and innovation
