WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a Finance Analyst to join our North America Nike Marketplace Partners Finance Operations team. This role is pivotal to the maximization of revenue and delivers shareholder value through the maintenance of Nike Marketplace Partner Trade Terms. Due to its cross-functional nature, this role requires an ability to build and maintain trusting business relationships. In addition, analytical and problem-solving skills will be utilized to identify, diagnose and resolve issues impacting marketplace partner orders and systems.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
If this is you, you’ll be working with key business partners to ensure trade terms are accurately maintained and will be looked to as a subject matter expert from a variety of partners. You will employ your knowledge and expertise of Nike Marketplace Partners, sales order maintenance, order types, pricing conditions, and products. A passion for collaboration and working in a team atmosphere will be key in helping the team stay focused on our strategic goals while running day to day operations in a fast-paced environment. You will proactively maintain all aspects of Nike Marketplace Partner trade terms (discounts and payment terms) in SAP and JBA, execute annual partner terms reviews, coordinate credit memo execution and tracking, process supplemental/manual override discount requests, and manage special projects. Accuracy and timeliness are key in this role. You will monitor and respond to daily email
inbox inquiries, retain documentation for audit purposes and respond to audit inquiries. You will adhere to and clearly communicate Nike’s current policies & procedures and SOX compliance practices.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
In this role you will directly impact the discounts we provide our marketplace partners, a key profitability lever for North America. With this you have the unique opportunity to collaborate with a diverse and cross-functional group of business partners including Finance, Sales, Marketplace Operations, Customer Finance, Customer Master Data
Compliance, and Partner Go To Market. Your advanced ability to develop relationships with these business partners will allow you to drive decision making up to senior leadership levels by understanding business objectives, integrating their input and developing a consumer-focused point of view!
WHAT YOU BRING
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint; SAP/JBA, Sprint, Cognos/Info Retriever (bookings), and MMX experience preferred
• Team player: able to thrive in a dynamic team environment
• Communicate effectively in a variety of settings & audiences
• Bachelor's degree required (or additional experience in lieu of)
• 2+ years of work experience in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service, or Sales Operations is required
