WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS, SQL, Python, and related technologies and tools. The candidate must be able to demonstrate proficiency in designing, building, testing, and maintaining complex data pipelines.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON 

  • Develop and maintain data integration and processing pipelines to support business intelligence reporting and analytics.
  • Design, build, test, and maintain data warehouse architectures in the cloud (e.g., AWS) and on-premise.
  • Develop and maintain data processing and ETL jobs using Spark, Hive, and Python.
  • Develop and maintain database schemas, views, functions, and procedures in SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Perform testing and debugging activities to ensure the accuracy and quality of data.
  • Monitor data and pipeline health through meaningful metrics and data quality checks.
  • Document and maintain technical specifications, data dictionaries, and metadata.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision making.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in data engineering or related field.
  • Strong experience with AWS, SQL, Spark and associated technology stacks.
  • Strong experience in data warehouse design and database management.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or any other scripting languages.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools like Tableau, Looker or Power BI.
  • Experience with ETL tools such as Talend, Informatica, or Apache NiFi.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB.
  • Good understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
