Title: Data Analyst

Location: Beaverton

Duration: 8 month contract

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Analyze complex business problems using data from both internal and external sources to provide actionable insights.
  • Identify trends and patterns in datasets to determine their impact on business outcomes.
  • Construct forecasts and make strategic recommendations based on business data and market knowledge.
  • Develop and document specifications for reports and analyses that meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver data solutions.
  • Directly produce datasets and reports using system reporting tools.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Lead efforts to achieve key goals across consumer and commercial analytics functions.
  • Build and deliver scalable data solutions, ensuring sustainability and efficiency.
  • Validate key performance indicators and create queries to measure business performance quantitatively.
  • Communicate complex systems and analytics changes to the business in understandable terms.
  • Develop SQL queries, data visualizations, and analytics to fulfill reporting needs and ad-hoc requests.
  • Monitor data quality, remove corrupt data, and maintain data governance standards from ingestion to documentation.
  • Improve processes through automation, explore new technologies for high-volume data processing, and support system integration testing and modeling.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • A Bachelor's Degree with 2-4 years of directly relevant experience (or equivalent qualifications).
  • Strong skills in analyzing data and extracting insights to support decision-making.
  • Experience developing reports, forecasts, and recommendations based on business and market data.
  • Ability to work independently, solve problems proactively, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data mining, statistical analysis, and data visualization.
  • Experience with reporting tools and building scalable, efficient data workflows.
  • A self-motivated, detail-oriented approach to improving existing processes and systems.
