 As a Technical Product Management (TPM), you will develop a vision, objectives and strategy for a Technology product or program. Ensures all are aligned with business strategies and budget. Establishes and maintains cross-functional coordination. Maintains ultimate responsibility regarding program objectives operating within financial and resource constraints. Manages project dependencies within the product/program and builds the team. Ensures relationships, performance, and communications are well managed. Ensures proper Project Management staffing for all projects within the product/ program; helps develop objectives and scope. Acts as an escalation point for issues that impact the product/programs cost, schedule, and/or performance. You will be a key member of the team, working with business stakeholders to provide them with new solutions, enhancements, and support to various technology solutions. This includes engineering integration links, configuration of modern and legacy applications, testing and process automation system, and/or customization and configuration of key applications and vendor software packages as needed. Your ability to understand requirements and drive toward results is critical in this role.

In this role you will:

  • Successfully elicit from appropriate business and technology partners all forms of requirements (e.g. functional, performance, usability, compliance, regulatory, technical)
  • Take complex real-world problems, understand then communicate them, and translate them into feasible solutions
  • Demonstrate adaptability to working in a modern, lean, and agile delivery environment
  • Collaboratively work across Nike Tech teams to support each other’s objectives
  • Drive towards delivery of standard solutions and capabilities
  • Commit to partner with subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs
  • Actively participate in feature creation and story definition and provide clarification when necessary
  • Prioritize work effectively to support program priorities while maintaining technical integrity
  • Develop technical solutions based on requirements from business units, technology teams, and support teams
  • Take pride in your work, showing high attention to detail, and build quality at the beginning of the development process

Experience

  • 8+ years relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree along with 4+ years’ experience in a Technical Product Manager/Owner Role
  • Ability to lead and direct major cross-functional initiatives with effective prioritization and influence.
  • Experience of working in Product model following Agile methodologies and Cross-Functional Technology and Business Stakeholder management
  • Experience of working on Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools such as Jira and Aha!
  • Strong understanding and experience of Product Roadmap and Backlog Management.
  • Strong understanding of SAP ECC and S/4.
  • Business functional knowledge of financial & controlling processes, accounting methodologies, consolidation, and internal/external reporting.
  • Proven track record or measuring product success/value and measurements such as KPIs, OKRs and Scorecards/Dashboards.
  • Proven track record of measuring product success and measurements such as KPIs and Scorecard. Strong facilitation skills with ability to pull diverse groups of individuals with different goals together and facilitate productive discussions.
  • Able to respond to and prioritize changing demands.
