Title: Security DevOps Engineer
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 1 Year
There are four main components to the information security DevOps Engineer should focus on designing, building, and implementing:
- Strategy.
- Implementation.
- Operation.
- Monitoring
Responsibilities
- Partner with CIS & Governance team to develop automation for checks and validation of governing policies.
- Introduce Security in DevOps practice.
- Contributing features to internally developed Information Security tools, and integrate those tools into the Security DevOps pipelines.
- Perform process analysis to understand current environments. Highlight areas where streamlining and automation can occur to provide sustainable processes to remain compliant.
- Performing security assessments and audits in partnership with CIS.
- Reporting model for the consumer and SLT , SLT+1 to track the Governance compliance, (dashboards, communication etc…)
- Monitor actions to enforce accountability.
- Developing technical solutions to security vulnerabilities in partnership with Domain owners and CIS
- Deliver the corporate Audit & Risk remediation.
- Proactively Identify the non-compliance in the environment and work with the key stakeholders to remediate them.
- Hire Teammates & build the team.
Top skills:
- Excellent understanding of cyber security concepts
- Agile development - incorporating Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery utilizing technologies such as GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Chef, Crucible, Sonar, Junit
- Linux - Strong Linux and systems engineering knowledge, Python - Experience with python web frameworks, AngularJS - You've built Angular directives beyond just wrapping a Jquery plugin around an element and Node.js - You've created multiple API-centric web applications
- Business process analysis and streamlining; understanding where measurement points need to occur.
- Scripting tools to build automation
- Data analytics to understand process gaps / root cause analysis. Ability to pull, synthesize, and analyze data to put into a digestible / consumable format.
