Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.

This management position offers a fantastic opportunity to drive improvement and accreditation processes across the organisation, whilst leading the Clinical Governance Team. We are looking for an experienced and motivated professional to maintain our successful accreditation history, lead continual improvement and promote service excellence and patient safety across our organisation.

This position will require:

  •  An experienced clinical professional
  •  Extensive contemporary knowledge of improvement processes and accreditation systems
  •  A demonstrated ability to lead both individuals and teams
  •  Excellent communication skills: interpersonal, verbal and written
  •  Demonstrated ability to provide high level written reports
  •  High level of self motivation and capacity to prioritise in a busy role

  • Wangaratta has a population of approximately 30,000 and our catchment serves a community of around 100 000 throughout the northeast.
