As a project manager you will lead and coordinate complex projects and could serve as a designated subject matter expert for assigned projects.

Responsibilities:

Position specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Facilitate the development of project scope with stakeholders and identify objectives/deliverables, milestones, schedules, and overall plan manage across teams to ensure project completion.
  • Determine project methodology (predictive, agile, adaptive, etc.) and execute project plans.
  • Plan and implement communication activities and timelines for assigned projects which can include working across organizational divisions.
  • Monitor, track and report on project deliverables, quality standards and performance measures.
  • Ensure projects are accomplished in accordance with established specifications and funding requirements.
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Organize and execute multiple priorities.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively with a team or others in the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years related experience; 1 of which is in project management or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge skills and abilities have been achieved.
  • PMP or equivalent Project Management certification is a plus.
  • Experience working in a higher education environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, advanced excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience with project management software such as Smartsheet.
  • Experience with tracking and managing higher education projects preferred.
  • High level of self-direction.
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

 Pay Range for this position is $36-$40/hr.
