Pay Rate: $30.00 - $35.00/hourly

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our Facilities and Campus Operations team on a short-term project. This is a 4-month contract role with potential for extension, paying $30.00 - $35.00 per hour based on experience.

In this role based out of our Providence, RI office, you will work Monday-Friday from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. You will be responsible for review of providing payroll wage calculation and analysis to ensure accurate and timely paychecks for facilities and campus operations employees across multiple locations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review historical data
• Understand contracts and rates
• Process retro wages for 325-350 employees
• Provide checks and balances

To be successful in this role, candidates should have:

• 2 - 4 years of financial and payroll experience
• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field

Must have skills and experience in:

• Data Analysis
• Problem Solving
• Advanced spreadsheet apps (MS Excel and Google Sheets)
• Working Independently
