Salary/ Hourly rate: $31.6500/ hour - $33.2763/ hour plus 11.5 % superannuation
About the Role:
NCN Health have an exciting opportunity for an Allied Health Assistant to join our team in Allied Health and Chronic Disease team at Numurkah.
The Allied Health Assistant (AHA) works as part of a multidisciplinary team at NCN Health, providing support to clinicians in the delivery of quality, client focused allied health services across the organisation including Residential Aged Care facilities and the Moira Community Rehabilitation Centre.
As an integral part of the multidisciplinary team at NCN Health, the Allied Health Assistant will work under the direction of Allied Health Practitioners and Nursing staff, supporting a range of services and programs including Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Dietetics, Podiatry and Community Nursing, in order to enhance the delivery of treatment for consumers.
What we are looking for:
- Vaccination against Covid-19 is strongly encouraged
- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or Enrolled Nurse or other relevant qualification.
- Previous experience in Allied Health Assistant role or working in a multidisciplinary allied health team.
- Demonstrated experience in coordination and conducting therapeutic group-based activities.
