Position:       Diabetes Educator (Internal Only)

Location:      Numurkah

EFT/Hours:   0.1EFT (8 Hours Per Fortnight)

Status:          Fixed Term Part Time

Salary/ Hourly rate:  Hourly rate will be determined by qualification and experience applicable to the relevant Enterprise Agreement, plus 11.5 % superannuation

 

About the Role:

NCN Health have an exciting opportunity for a Diabetes Educator to join our team in Integrated Community Health across NCN Health. The Diabetes Educator provides a range of high quality diabetes education, clinical management, information and support to clients and staff across NCN Health, including community outpatients, acute inpatients and residents of NCN Health’s residential aged care facilities. 

What we are looking for:

  • Vaccination against Covid-19 is strongly encouraged
  • Post Graduate qualifications in diabetes education and Credentialed Diabetes Educator (CDE).
  • Member of the Australian Diabetes Educators Association (ADEA)
  • Advanced interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
