EFT/Hours:   0.6 EFT (42Hours Per Fortnight)

Status:          Fixed Term until 27 April 2025 (Leave replacement)

Salary/ Hourly rate: Part Time: $28.8474 - $31.6500 plus 11.5% superannuation

About the Role:

NCN Health have an exciting opportunity for a Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant to join our team in Banawah, Nathalia.

The position works as part of a multidisciplinary team to support the delivery of care to residents. Under the direction or supervision of the Nurse Unit Manager. The Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant provides activities that ensures a diverse range of experiences that can help to enhance the well being of residents. each activity targets particular needs for the resident, which can be physical, emotional, cognitive, social and spiritual.

What we are looking for:

  • Vaccination against Covid-19 is a mandatory requirement.
  • Certificate III or Certificate IV in either Aged Care, Community, Disability (P.C.A), Leisure and Lifestyle, Diversional Therapy, Nursing, or Allied Health Assistant qualifications.
  • Commitment to enhancing the quality of life of frail aged people, people with disabilities and their carers.
  • Demonstrated ability to empower clients to participate in decision making and activity planning.
