Business Trainee

MRAEL are currently looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Business Trainee to join the team at Vassallo Construction.

Our Client, Vassallo Construction is a Mackay based construction company with expertise in earthworks, roadworks, concrete works, pipelaying, landscaping, surveying, environmental remediation, residential developments and commercial developments. 

Small and supportive team looking for someone who has an interest in admin and growing their career in a local business. 

We are offering a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic industry, whilst working towards a Certificate III in Business.

About the position:

As a Business Trainee, you will provide general administrative and front of house support - Answering phones and walk in enquiries, data entry support with payroll and accounts.

What we are looking for:

Candidate must have good literacy and numeracy skills, good with computers and data entry. Candidate must also have good communication skills and be confidant in taking phone calls and serving walk in customers. 

Work Type:

Full Time Traineeship - Monday - Friday (38 hours per week)

What we are looking for:

• Drivers licence
• Computer literate in Microsoft Suite and Outlook
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• A positive, proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
