Are you a driven leader ready to take charge of a hardworking team in a growing manufacturing company? We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate looking to advance their career as a Team Leader with Cheetham Salt in Central Queensland.

Cheetham Salt has been a leading salt producer in Australia since 1888. As Team Leader, you will play a key role supervising salt production and warehouse operations at their state-of-the-art Bajool facility.

As Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining workplace safety and cleanliness
  • Leading process improvements to enhance safety, quality, and productivity
  • Managing team output to meet delivery targets
  • Overseeing 24/7 manufacturing operations and adhering to food safety procedures
  • Working a rotating 12 hour shift schedule across day and night shifts

About You:

Requirements:

  • A current driver's licence and reliable transport (as public transport is not available in this area).
  • Forklift ticket.
  • You must live within a 1-hour commute of the site.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Completion of Leadership/Supervisor program or S123 (Mining Supervisor qualifications).

The successful applicant must have reliable transportation within an hour commute as well as the ability to pass pre-employment checks.
