MRAEL in partnership with BHP Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) are seeking candidates to undertake a HV Electrical Apprenticeship at Caval Ridge Mine, Commencing in January 2024.

Successful candidates will follow a structured and industry-specific training plan, learning on the job from experts in their field whilst completing a Certificate III in Electrotechnology.
Who are we seeking?
In the fixed-term position, the successful candidate will show an ability to work safely in a mining environment, demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills, be motivated to learn and develop new skills, and have the ability to work constructively within a team.
The positions will be offered on a 4/3 roster arrangements. Local residents are encouraged to apply, however Drive-in Drive-out (DIDO) and Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) options are available (Brisbane only).
Both mature age applicants and students currently completing Year 12 are welcome to apply. If Year 12 has already been completed, the minimum requirement is that candidates achieved a Pass in Prevocational English and Mathematics, or possess equivalent qualifications.

- Senior certificate or equivalent
