As an Apprentice and Employment Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting Apprentices and Trainees from commencement through to completion. You'll guide and mentor them throughout their journey, while building strong relationships with host employers and industry stakeholders.

This dynamic role covers a service area from Newcastle to Sydney.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team, setting the standard through your leadership.
  • Manage a caseload of Apprentices and Trainees, monitoring progress and providing ongoing support.
  • Develop strong relationships with both new and existing clients, offering tailored workforce solutions.
  • Drive business growth through effective sales strategies and a customer-first approach.
  • Liaise with Australian Apprentices, Host Employers, Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), and other partners to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Research funding opportunities for new programs and support the planning, launch, and implementation of these.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience in sales and business development, with a strong record in team leadership.
  • Solid understanding of employment services – experience mentoring apprentices is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – you thrive on connection and collaboration.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work independently and stay detail-oriented.
  • Initiative and drive to succeed in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.

  • The successful applicant will need a Working with Children (WWC) Check and Federal Police Check (we’ll arrange this for you).
  • A current, valid Driver’s Licence is essential.
