Expression of Interest: Cabinet Making Apprenticeship
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals interested in developing their career as a Cabinet Maker. If you are just kick-starting your career or have already commenced your Apprenticeship, we welcome all applications!
This is an excellent opportunity to learn and develop your skills in the craft of Cabinetry whilst working alongside experienced professionals in a supportive, hands-on envirornment.
You may be required to work in a factory setting or on installation work off-site. MRAEL have a bunch of Host Employers across the South Brisbane region!
About the role:
As an apprentice, you will gain practical experience in the design, fabrication and installtion of cabinetry. You will be involved in all aspects of the trade, including measuring, cutting, assembling, and finishing high-quality woodwork.
About you:
We are looking for someone who is passionate about the industry and eager to learn the trade, has a keen eye for detail and is eager to develop their skills.
Requirements:
- Drivers Lic and reliable transport
- Previous work experience is highly regarded
- Early starts required
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Abiity to lift heavy materials
