MRAEL operates an Apprentice Employment Service (formerly Group Training Organisation (GTO), employing apprentices and trainees and hosting them to Host Employers across all industries. As a leading player in the industry, we are expanding our presence in Brisbane and seeking a sales Consultant to lead our efforts in delivering apprenticeship and traineeship solutions for both job seekers and employers.

The Role:

Your primary task will be to engage with potential clients through all types of outbound calling and other effective lead generation methods.

Your core aim in this AES sales position will be to recognise, reach out, and qualify potential clients to host our Apprentice and Trainees within their workplace. We are looking to increase our market share across all our trade qualifications, so this is an ideal opportunity to develop and use your sales skills to help local business owners manage their workforce needs. 

We're seeking a self-driven, confident go-getter who will make a real impact on how Apprentice and Trainees can help businesses across the entire Brisbane region. It's a fully autonomous position where you will oversee generating your own leads and arranging client meetings.

About You:

  • A background in employment, skills, and education environments
  • Strong understanding of the AES market and its unique challenges
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills, without compromising professionalism
  • Goal-focused with a competitive streak (eagerness to surpass expectations)
  • Established sales process/methodology & a proven record of success

Responsibilities:

  • Continued Apprenticeship growth - year on year to increase MRAEL’s market share
  • Prospecting, lead generation, appointment setting, and development of new client accounts
  • Arranging meetings with potential client decision-makers
  • Customize clients’ presentations to address their workforce objectives
  • Crafting a strategic plan for your clients, focusing on customer understanding, relationship building, and workforce participation
  • Collaborating with internal teams to devise effective marketing solutions and drive results for clients
