Sheetmetal Apprenticeship

MRAEL are currently seeking a Sheetmetal Apprentice to join the team at CAU Group.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands on experience and industry recognised training in a high-demand industry.

About the position:

As a Sheetmetal Apprentice you will assist in the installation of Air Conditioning products and Sheetmetal ductwork for ventilation and Air Conditioning systems

• Assist in the production, manufacture and repair of a range of light metal products
• Measure, cut and bend materials using hand and power tools
• Learn correct safety practices
• Support experienced sheet metal workers on various job sites

What we are looking for:

• A strong willingness to learn with a passion and genuine interest for the industry
• Hardworking and reliable
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Safety conscious and ability to work effectively in a team
• Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Hold a current driver’s licence and have reliable transport

Location:

North Brisbane, QLD

With projects across Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast, applicants must have an unrestricted drivers lic and reliable transport.

Work Type:

Full Time Apprenticeship (Monday - Friday, 38 hours per week)

On rare occasions, work may be required outside of Brisbane. In such cases, all meals and accommodation will be provided.
