About the position:
The Service Technician trainee is an entry level role within Precision Automotive Equipment. You will be installing and servicing hoists at major dealerships (such as Porche and Tesla), working with qualified technicians with the sole aim of progressing into a full-time Service Technician where you are provided with a car/van, company tools and a great place to work!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide service and customer support
- Assist with on-site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks as set out by the supervisor
- Assistance with the production of service reports
- Document processes
- Follow all company’s procedures and protocols
- Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organisation
- Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations in consultation with supervisor

Requirements:
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Hold a current Drivers licence
- Genuine interest in an automotive technical trade service
- Interest in diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining solutions
- Reliable and positive attitude towards learning
- Mechanically minded
